Tea Through Time is the latest display in the lobby of the West Oaks Branch Library and Genealogy Center. Tea culture has had an important place in American history, from 1773’s Boston Tea Party protest to elegant afternoon tea parties in the 19th century. The display features teas in various forms that have been popular throughout the ages such as bricks, bags, and loose teas. Also featured are vintage teapots, caddies, glassware, and china. All items are on loan from the personal collections of members of the Friends of Ocoee History Preservation.
